Job Description:

• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems according to specifications and codes.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation procedures.
• Measure and cut pipes to required lengths, using various tools such as saws, pipe cutters, and pipe-threading machines.
• Weld, solder, or braze pipes to join them together, using welding equipment, soldering tools, or torches.
• Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as needed for project completion.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a pipefitter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
