Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team and provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with mental health disorders. The Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans and ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations to determine the nature and severity of patients' mental health concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' diagnoses, symptoms, and personal preferences.
• Provide medication management and prescribe appropriate psychotropic medications as needed, monitoring their efficacy and side effects.
• Offer psychotherapy and counseling to patients using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and interpersonal therapy (IPT).
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms and improving overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medication prescriptions, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay informed about advances in the field of psychiatry through ongoing professional development and continuing education activities.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility for board certification in psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the UAE.
• Previous experience working as a Psychiatrist in a clinical setting preferred.
• Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills, with a patient-centered approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Compassion, empathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards individuals with mental health concerns.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software applications.
